Additionally, she will outline the benefits of joining the Second Century Board, a dynamic group of young professionals who are dedicated to supporting the mission of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. This board offers a unique opportunity for emerging leaders to engage with the community, develop their skills, and make meaningful contributions to the preservation and promotion of Oklahoma's heritage.

Shannon Rich has spent her career leading organizations through transformational projects by challenging traditional methods. As president and CEO of the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Rich directed the opening of the Gaylord–Pickens Museum. Before joining the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Rich served as executive vice president at John Q. Hammons Hotels, opening both the Renaissance Oklahoma City Hotel and the Downtown Courtyard by Marriott and re-opened city's convention center after Metropolitan Area Projects (MAPS) renovations.
Rich’s leadership has resulted in a tremendous impact on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame’s statewide exposure, educational programming and guest experience with more than 45,000 Oklahoma students experiencing the Museum through the free field trip program; the creation of one of the most active young professionals board and teen boards in the state; a significant increase in overall donor support; the launching of an emerging leaders board of young professionals; free family programming; the completion of a $19-million capital campaign; and enhancing the experience and revenue associated with the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. During her tenure, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame has received local, state and regional awards for education programming, cultural exhibits in addition to being named by several statewide agencies as one of the most “Family Friendly” places to work.
