ERDA to Host Northern Oklahoma Student Aero Day

ERDA, in collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics, is organizing the Northern Oklahoma Student Aero Day on Thursday, April 24, at Enid Woodring Regional Airport. This invite-only event will offer insights into the educational opportunities within the aviation sector. We anticipate around 250 students and instructors from across Northern Oklahoma to join the event.

The airport's two multiuse hangars will be filled with vendors offering VR and desktop flight simulators, drone construction, model airplanes, foam gliders, and drone golf. Colonel Carl Miller from Vance Air Force Base will deliver the keynote speech. Various aircraft from Vance AFB will be showcased along with their pilots. Students will have the opportunity to tour Aircraft Structures International Co. Two schools will receive a drone arena with ten drones, and twenty students will be awarded a drone maker kit.
