Congrats to Work in Enid Scholarship Recipients
The Enid Regional Development Alliance, in partnership with the Cherokee Strip Community Foundation, is proud to celebrate the recipients of the Work In Enid Award—a forward-thinking talent attraction initiative designed to bring bright, motivated professionals to Enid by offering up to $10,000 toward their student loans in exchange for living and working in our community.
After a competitive application process and thoughtful interviews, the Selection Committee chose four outstanding individuals who embody the values and potential of Enid’s future. These professionals bring passion, skill, and a deep commitment to our region, and we’re excited to recognize their achievements.
Meet the 2024 Recipients
Isaac Smallwood
A recent Kansas State University graduate, Isaac brings fresh vision and energy to Enid as a community planner at the Northern Oklahoma Development Authority (NODA). His role supports growth and infrastructure planning across the region. With the help of the Work in Enid Award, Isaac is establishing his roots here while contributing meaningfully to the development of our area.
Piper Tucker
Returning to her hometown after earning a Business Marketing degree from the University of Oklahoma, Piper is now teaching and coaching pom at Enid Public Schools. Her enthusiasm and leadership are making a positive impact in the classroom and on the sidelines. The scholarship helps ease her transition back to Enid, where she's already shaping young lives.
Anna Grace Ashley
Anna Grace, a 2024 Oklahoma State University graduate, is now a speech pathologist at Gonzales Therapy. Her work helps pediatric clients develop essential communication skills, playing a vital role in their growth. Choosing to build her career and life in Enid, Anna Grace is exactly the kind of committed, compassionate professional this award was designed to support.
Lauren Snapp
After completing her education at Oklahoma State University and earning her law degree from OU, Lauren has returned to Enid to practice law at Mitchell DeClerk. In addition to her legal work, she’s the founder of Foster Feet, a local nonprofit supporting foster children. The Work in Enid Award helps Lauren continue her impactful work in both law and community service.
Each of these recipients has chosen Enid not just as a place to work, but as a place to grow, give back, and thrive. Their dedication, talent, and community spirit embody the mission of the Work in Enid initiative.
Congratulations to Isaac, Piper, Anna Grace, and Lauren! We’re proud to support your journeys and honored to have you as part of Enid’s future.
