As we close Fiscal Year 2026, it is important to remember that economic development isn’t about crossing a finish line—it’s about continually building a stronger future for our community.

This year, Enid took meaningful steps forward. We expanded opportunities for future business growth through the continued development of FORGE Industrial Parks, invested in our workforce through public-private partnership initiatives at Northern Oklahoma College and Autry Technology Center, supported business expansion through state incentive programs, and helped local businesses grow through grants, partnerships, and technical assistance.

Each of these accomplishments tells the same story: businesses, institutions, and community partners continue to invest in Enid because they believe in its future.

What I’m most proud of isn’t any one project—it’s the collaboration behind every success. Businesses, educators, local governments, nonprofit organizations, and investors continue to work together with a shared commitment to strengthening our economy and improving our quality of life. That spirit of collaboration is one of Enid’s greatest competitive advantages, and it’s what continues to set our community apart.

The close of one fiscal year also marks the beginning of another. The opportunities ahead are exciting because of the foundation we’ve built together.

In FY27, ERDA will continue focusing on the priorities that matter most: supporting existing businesses, recruiting new investment, expanding housing opportunities, strengthening our workforce, encouraging entrepreneurship, enhancing quality of life, and creating the conditions for long-term economic success. Every project we pursue has the same purpose—to ensure Enid remains a place where businesses choose to invest, families choose to live, and opportunities continue to grow.

Fiscal Year 2026 continued to strengthen our foundation. Fiscal Year 2027 gives us the opportunity to build on that momentum. Together, we’ll continue creating opportunities that benefit our businesses, our workforce, and our community for generations to come.
